The Pledge is now done its final edit. I just need to fix the problems the editor found and then polish it so I can have it made into a galley. This is exciting, but at the same time hard. I see so many places where I want to add something - or delete something - but it is too late...the story is finished...the time for change has passed.
I love Calum now. My editor gave me some great feedback and helped me with a few spots where I had left the poor man in limbo. I've also improved one of the battle scenes. It is still not a hot romance, but it is far more sensual.

I had the pleasure of editing The Pledge and it is a fabulous story. The hero, Calum, is very much a charismatic alpha male, passionate, strong, and honorable.
