Finding these pictures is not easy. There are a lot of faires, but rarely are the costumns period authentic. This one is very authentic to how Lady Anne's Husband, The Earl of Huntly, or an English Nobleman would dress. It is unlikely that any of the barons in The Pledge would have the means to dress so fine. They would have lacked the gold and jewels. Barons, while they sound noble in books, were the lowest on the Nobility pearage ladder. Their titles were not always hereditary, and was attached to the land, not the family.
